State print competition awards!
•June 11, 2009 • Leave a CommentHello again! Things have been a bit hectic around here the past few weeks and needless to say I’ve been on the road a bit. I just returned from Huntsville where I participated in this year’s Mississippi / Alabama State print competition. The good news is that I placed very well, winning 1st Place for a Character Study as well as Honors Court and the Judges choice awards! If you’re a regular visitor to my website, then you’ve probably seen the image of the baby in the leopard chair. This one as well as one of my boudoir portraits were my biggest winners. I also had an amazing senior portrait hang in this year’s print exhibition in Huntsville. Look for my winning images to be properly marked on my website within the coming week!
With that said, I’m trying desparately to get my act together after being away at our State conference. So, PLEASE be patient with me as I try to get back with everyone who emailed or left a phone message for me while I was in Huntsville. If you don’t think you can wait, then feel free to give me a call back as I should be in the studio all day tomorrow

a terrific wedding at Maria’s Vinyard in Dothan!
•May 20, 2009 • Leave a CommentJennifer and Michael tied the knot not quite 3 weeks ago and WOW what some amazing shots we got! Ralph and I both love to shoot at Maria’s Vinyard, so we got totally wrapped up in the surroundings. We thought we may have a bit of rain, so we rushed out to the vinyard to get some shots just in case of a shower. The cool part was that Ralph and I both knew when we were snapping just how amazing those clouds would look in the images! It’s getting pretty late, so I don’t have time to load many, but here’s a few of our absolute favorites. We’re just so thankful that this amazing couple chose us to capture their special day! -Cindi Kay

Check out the guy on the far right!

Does it get any more beautiful?

I JUST LOVED THAT VEIL!!!

a passion for Dance School Photography!
•May 15, 2009 • 2 CommentsWe just had the most amazing week with those wonderful dancers from Oz Dance Center! We had a terrific time playing around with different themes. I was amazed at just how excited those MOMS were during the shoot. I know they can hardly wait to get their pictures, so we promise to get to work printing all those packages right away! We will also be putting up a web gallery just in case anyone would like to order a few additional prints or maybe even order some with one of our artistic effects such as the black and white shown here… Special thanks to everyone at Oz Dance Center for all of their help. We are truly honored that you chose us this year! We’ve got our work cut out for us in processing all of those amazing images, but I just had to share a few

Baby Palooza tomorrow!
•May 1, 2009 • Leave a CommentLook for our booth at the Dothan Convention Center tomorrow! Vanessa and I both will take turns manning our booth and I will be helping judge the CUTEST KID CONTEST! The winner of the contest can look forward to being a cover model for the summer or fall issue of Wiregrass Parenting Magazine. We will be representing both the magazine and the studio throughout the day and look forward to meeting all of those moms and kids!
By the way, if you’re interested in having your child considered for a cover of Wiregrass Parenting Magazine, then you’ll want to have your child’s portrait made with us or another sponsor studio featured in Wiregrass Parenting! Hope to see you soon
Our beautiful daughter on her wedding day!
•April 29, 2009 • 1 CommentWe’re still working on the rest of the images from Vanessa’s and Steven’s wedding, but I thought I’d go ahead an share at least one! Thank goodness I didn’t have to do ALL of the photography. We had a wonderful photographer from Georgia who was sooooo much fun to work with! Thanks Terry for putting up with all of us. It was truly a blessing having you at our daughter’s wedding!
I’m still not sure how we pulled off planning a wedding with us being so busy and my having to travel lately! Let’s just say I have a new found respect for MOTHER of THE BRIDE ![]()

memories of Louisiana
•April 24, 2009 • Leave a CommentHello all… Just checking in to let everyone know that we are back from Louisiana! We were hosted by three different photography guilds, including New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette. We gave speech after speech, judged one print competition and put more than our share of miles on my car
Vanessa and I even got to spend some quality time in the New Orleans’ French Quarter and also went on a tour of Laura Plantation. Here’s a few of my personal favorites from Bourbon Street. ENJOY!
