I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone at the Dothan Magazine for the wonderful article they just completed about my studio! Thanks Nick, Kerry, Robin and anyone else who assisted in making this happen. I received my copy of the article yesterday morning and I was just blown away by Kerry’s eloquent words and how she perceived me and my vision for Studio EnVogue. I can hardly wait everyone to read the article, but thought I’d go ahead and share the amazing ad that we will be running in the upcoming issue! It’s a wonderful shot I got just today during yet another amazing bridal session. Thanks Jennifer for being so much fun to work with; I can hardly wait for you to see all the wonderful shots we got!

I’m getting ready to head off for a week of on location work in Sarasota Florida, but didn’t want to leave without giving Brooke and Joseph a sneak peak at some of their wonderful images! They wed just yesterday at the stately First Bapt Church in Eufaula Alabama and we also took some amazing portraits at Eufaula’s beautiful Shorter mansion. What a wonderful day we had with them and their wonderful families! I promise to have your entire wedding posted as soon as possible! -Cindi K

Happy Birthday to OUR MODEL!!!

Vanessa turns 17 on Sunday so I thought I’d honor her with a few favorite images from the past year. I only wish I had room here to share more of her beautiful face! As you can see I can only take a very little credit for her talent as a model as she is truly expressive in front of the camera. I suppose she’s had a bit more camera time than most, but even that can’t teach you how to be ‘yourself’ in front of the lens. HERE’s to a wonderful 17th birthday and an AMAZING career as a professional MODEL… Love MOM

They say the eyes are the window to the soul… If this is true, then there’s no doubt to me that this ‘Mom to be’ is surely revealing her innermost self in this amazing portrait! You simply have to see it CLOSE UP to get the full effect of how her eyes are just speaking to you loud and clear; there’s nothing like capturing a truly special moment in someone’s life. I’m not bragging here folks, just stating fact when I say that I NAILED SHEER PERFECTION in this amazing portrait of Sara as her spirit sored in front of my lens!

Dreamin’ about BABY…

Most MOMS only wait nine months to have a baby while others wait YEARS! Shawn has waited a very long time for her special moment and we wish her and her family all the best now that their time is FINALLY almost here! When I heard her story of try after try and loss after loss, I knew this was going to be no ordinary maternity session. Blessings come in many forms and mine came in meeting and working with this amazing woman who never gave up hope of having a child of her own…

p.s. The red flower is for the precious little girl for whom MOM waits so patiently to meet!

Not every wedding day is planned out as well as Mallory and Nick’s. I sure wish they were. We’d then always have two photographers and we’d always have plenty of extra time to capture lots of EXTRA fun stuff like we did at Mallory and Nick’s wedding. Not only did Mallory and Nick make the PERFECT couple, but they did an amazing job of planning their special day! KUDOS to this wonderful couple and an extra special THANK YOU to the bride for choosing us to capture her special day! We can hardly wait for you both to see all the wonderful images we captured… -Cindi Kay & Ralph

Elizabeth’s Fairy Tale Bridal Session

There are only a few things that truly make the bridal experience a true living fairy tale come true. I like to think that the creation of a few amazing images that will never fail to bring back all the memories of being a young excited bride is a big part of that experience. Other than the groom himself and the supportive parents who help bring it all together, the number of people who will be remembered long after your fairy tale day has come and gone will be few. I sure hope that even if my face can’t be remembered that my images and the energy they bring will somehow bring joy to your heart when you think of the crazy lady who created them. God bless you Elizabeth; I can hardly wait to capture your wedding day memories! -Cindi K
