Vicki and Martin wanted an outdoor session for their engagement and I knew just the right place. So, we headed off to the Botanical Gardens and got some pretty amazing shots! I can hardly wait until their wedding. We did Vicki’s sister’s wedding a few months ago… Poor Mom! Having to help plan TWO WEDDINGS in the same year!!! ENJOY!!! -Cindi Kay

Special thanks to Albany Georgia’s Camera Club for having me last night. I enjoyed meeting with everyone and hope that I was at least a tad bit informative in the wireless remote control department… The more channels the better! Hopefully one day I’ll find one that has the right channel to work in St. Bernard’s Abbey! HE HE… Thanks Linda for giving me the great short-cut to get back home!

Samantha and Garrett WED by the WATER just outside of Headland Alabama on a beautiful afternoon with lots of friends and family surrounding them. What a fun couple to work with! I spent some time with Samantha at her salon in the morning and then we all met at the wedding site a short time later for her to get into her gown. My assistant Ashley and I both got some amazing shots throughout the entire day!

By the way, Samantha is going to be a COVER GIRL VERY SOON, but my lips are sealed (for now) as to where she’ll make her debut. So, you’ll just have to stay tuned to find out! This and MORE surprizes coming soon!!! –Cindi Kay

She’s the reason they call me ‘Cindi Kay’

Back in my previous life, before I was finally able to enjoy being a full-time artist instead of a part-time one, I had a few jobs! One of which I was a PURCHASING AGENT/BUYER for a national distribution company named UNISOURCE. I helped stock many warehouses across the country with items that we all use every day such as plastic and paper bags, food containers, cups and even straws… I not only negotiated prices, but tracked truckload orders as they made their way across the country. I was the ultimate multi-tasker. There was only one small problem and that was we had TWO people in the office with my name! OK, so CYNDI spells her name with a Y instead on an I, but that didn’t mean anything when someone called out for CINDI! We both always popped up over our cubicle to see which one was needed. One day the boss (Kathy) says we’ve got to come up with a solution and I simply refused to be called “Cindi ONE” or “Cindi TWO”, so I said ‘Just call me Cindi Kay!’… Problem solved… I’ve pretty much been ‘Cindi Kay’ ever since!

The reason for my reflecting this week is because my friend Cyndi (with a Y) started her 3rd round of Chemotherapy this week and I just can’t help but think about her right now. She’s been through so much already in only TWO YEARS since her diagnosis. She’s already been through two rounds of chemo and a stem cell transplant! I’m going to pray for her every day through her treatments. My friend is a tough cookie, but she’s up against a very hefty opponent. She could use all the prayers she can get right now and I’m hoping she’ll gain MANY here… Thanks for listening -CINDI KAY
