So I get a call yesterday afternoon and was asked if I’d be interested in being in the “Spotlight” as LexJet Corp wants me as a featured artist in their nationally recognized publication “In Focus”… How cool is that! Only problem is they want pictures of ME and MY STUDIO… YIKES! I’m not comfortable on the other side of the lens as I’m usually the one snapping the pictures πŸ™‚ Wish me luck as I give my hubbie the daunting task of snapping a few images of me! Have a great day! -Cindi Kay

I’m so honored that Peggy Sue’s mom takes the time to allow her to be the princess she was born to be right here in our studio. We’re so pleased to offer a wonderful selection of very special princess dresses & tutus and even more excited to offer a few very special images in our exclusive “Painted Princess” series. Here’s Peggy Sue in the dress she chose along with a few hand painted brush strokes that helped turn it into a true masterpiece πŸ™‚ I’m also including a favorite from Peggy Sue’s recent shoot for Snicker Doodles Boutique in Daleville. Those little princesses of ours sure do make great models! -Cindi Kay

Leslie’s wedding is coming up in just a few weeks and we had a terrific time in the studio this weekend creating some extra special images of her in her gown! I only wish I could show them all because I had such a difficult time choosing which ones to blog πŸ™‚ My husband said he couldn’t wait til her wedding because she was such a “hoot” when she came in to the studio. We always manage to be blessed when it comes to the brides we work with. Almost ALL of our brides stay in touch with us years after their wedding and we even end up snapping pics of the little ones when they come along! I don’t think there could possibly be a more flattering phone call than when they book a session after the wedding… ENJOY! -Cindi Kay

Wow, what a trip! I had a great time just hanging out with friends and even got to meet Anne Geddes! She is such an inspiration to me and I was just so honored to be in the same room with her. She literally paved the way for photographic artists such as myself who wish to think outside of the box and she continues to do such wonderful things for our industry. I will never forget this trip! Here’s a few shots including one of me and my dear friend Marc Benjamin. He gave a special encore performance presentation of his amazing dance photography just for me πŸ™‚ There’s also a shot from 10,000 feet above Arizona just after take off on my way home! ENJOY… Cindi Kay

If you’re photographic art student, then there’s a good chance we will meet next week as I will be one of those giving Portfolio Reviews at IUSA! I’m looking forward to meeting each and every one of you and answering as many questions of yours as I possibly can.

I’m also looking forward to attending a very special event with Anne Geddes as well as hanging out with a few very dear friends in the world of photography. Stay tuned for a few pics from my trip next week. There’s no telling who I’ll get a shot of! Wish me luck as I head off tomorrow for Arizona πŸ™‚ Ms. Cindi
